Jonathan has a Bachelor of Science in Cinema and Photography from Southern Illinois University, where he also studied interior architecture. Leading to many years of commercial photography experience in architecture, interiors, and architectural product photography with KARANT+Associates, Inc., in Chicago. Jonathan has also been an adjunct faculty member at Waubonsee Community College from 2007-2016, instructing students in digital, large-format, and studio lighting photography. From 2016-2019, he was the Photography Lab Coordinator at Waubonsee Community College, where he is now the Information Technology Budget Sr. Coordinator.
While operating his own photo and design business, he developed web and print materials for clients, including some internationally. He co-developed graduate-level course materials for global logistics, business ethics, project management, and globalization.
Currently, he enjoys traveling with his wife, Jennifer, and his children. Exploring new locations and photographing along the way.
